The Digital Deal Podcast

As our world expands beyond physical frontiers into digital spaces, old forms of governance are forced to go through thorough revisions. The Digital Deal Podcast, invites artists, cultural critics and theorists, and AI experts to discuss how new technologies reshape our democracies and help us make sense of these changes.

The Digital Deal Podcast is part of the European Digital Deal - a three-year project that investigates the accelerated and often unconsidered adoption of new technologies and their impact on society. Ana-Maria Carabelea

Ana-Maria Carabelea has been a part of the Ars Electronica team since 2021, where she develops content and communication strategies for European projects. In the past, she conceptualised and curated conference programmes and exhibitions across the cultural and creative industries, including -ing Creatives - Dubai’s first independent creative festival. She holds an MA in European Literature from Humboldt University Berlin, an MA in Brands, Communication, and Culture from Goldsmiths University of London, and is currently developing her PhD proposal for Goldsmiths University of London.

She splits her time between London and Berlin, checking out the latest new media art exhibitions or reading critical theory in some cafe.
